These days, I totally rock my "I don't care hair". I'm generally at home and no one sees me but my kids. But the holidays are coming and with that, comes time to look nice and have "Holiday Hair"!

Instyler and Vocalpoint sent me 3 great products to test out. I'm going to tell you about all 3, but show you my favorite !

Doing the Happy, Clear Skin Dance with Clearasil® #MC #ClearasilMom #sponsored

I participated in an Influencer Activation on behalf of Influence Central for Clearasil. I received product samples to facilitate my review as well as a promotional item to thank me for my participation.

My 12 year old Tween son has been breaking out for some time and we haven't been able to find a product that clear up his skin without drying it as well.

The same goes for me. I still get teen like break outs but every product I use leaves my skin dry and itchy.

We are now doing the Happy, Clear Skin Dance !!!

My first field trip experience @oldmcmickysfarm

This past week, I went on a field trip. This was my first experience as a chaperone for one of my boys. It was never possible with a baby in tow, as there is a "no sibling" rule in place, so when Cj was a baby or in pre-school, it was impossible for me to participate.

No longer is that the case !!

We went to Old McMicky's Farm in Odessa Florida. It's a small, child friendly farm with animals, a hay ride or horse rides. Perfect for the 3rd graders.

Help Stickman Stew and the Gold Heart Crew bring a smile to a #ChildInNeed @StickmanStew

Disclosure: I received one or more products for review or promotional purposes.

Every year, sick, abused, homeless or neglected children go without at Christmas.
These children face challenges all year long, which I cannot even imagine.

This year, I partnered up with Stickman Stew and the Gold Heart Crew, to hopefully help bring smiles to faces of children who may otherwise go without at Christmas.

Stickman Stew, Stickgal Sal, Stickman Sid, and Stickgirl Shirl are all here to touch the heart of children with their own unique personalities. These bendable smiling figures boast a heart of gold.

Trying to regain your identity ...

I was at the WOW Summit in Orlando this weekend and there was a great speaker, Suzy Stauffer, that spoke about finding the woman inside the Mom that you are.

It really hit home for me. It hit me hard !! Like tears and all ....

There are days where I embrace being a Mom. Tons and tons of days.
But occasionally, I want to be selfish and be me, whoever that is.
A runner, a wife, a friend ...
Out of my comfy clothes and yoga pants. To wear a sexy dress and heels and make-up.

Maybe not go out in the mini-van that screams " I'M A MOM".

Me: Circa 1994

Listening to Suzy speak made me realize that when others look at me,
they see what I see ...
A mom to 3 boys who lives and breathes for nothing but home and family.

I began running for me. Not for anyone else.....
I feel free when I run. I feel like I have my own identity. I love hearing my family say that I have inspired them to get active. I need to do more things like this.

Sometimes I'm afraid. I'm afraid to try new things, to focus on me. What if my kids need me when I'm out being "Tara" instead of home being "Mom". It's not out of the realm of possibility and happens quite often.

While there is nothing I want more than in 5, 10, 15 years, for my boys to still want to hug me (or be seen in public with me).. To have their Dad by my side..

I still need to remember that before I was a Mom, before I was a Wife, I was a Woman, and she is important !!!
