And so vacation is done and school begins again

My 2 older boys went to bed at regular school time (8:30p). My youngest, though he was playing the whole way to his room, is in bed as well. I am working now and blogging in between calls (I work from home as often as I can).

Tomorrow begins the rest of the school year. The boys gave their pity faces as they trudged to their room and gave their version of a hacking cough claiming they may be too sick to go to school tomorrow. I offered meds but somehow, they instantly felt better ;()

My weight loss struggle journey begins anew as I try to add more water, reduce the sugar, and get my body moving! This weekend was kind of a bust since hubby really want ice cream and since he was treating, I really wanted a banana split. I have them like, twice a year, so I thought I'd get it out of the way early..
Sounds reasonable right? No, but I digress.

My hubby's birthday is just 2 weeks away and it's time to think about what he didn't get for Christmas so I can get it for his birthday.

I am looking forward to Anthony's last leg of Pre-school, but don't want it to go by too quickly. Luke has CCD so that he can receive 1st Communion in June and later in the month will have to go 2x per week as a parent has to attend classes with him. How am I supposed to concentrate on my spiritual journey with my 8 year old while keeping a handle on my 5 year old and 21 month old (OMG, I just realized Cj is 21 mo today).. Looks like hubby may be leaving work early on Wednesdays...

As Monday comes, the alarm clock will go off and we will be back to the everyday norm. Hopefully for our family, 2011 will be more healthy and energetic. I hope this is the case for your family as well...
