Do you need one? A Back-To-School Survival Kit (review and giveaway)

With school, comes new things. New teachers, new friends, new activities, and yes, new bumps, bruises, and scrapes.

The fine folks at Tec Labs are allowing me (and some other bloggers) to promote their products designed to help prevent skin infections in minor cuts and wounds, itching and head lice.

When you thin head lice, (as my hubby did), his face turned ghost white and couldn't even speak.
But the  Licefreee Everyday Shampoo helps to prevent head lice.
Now I know you probably aren't going to use this product daily and I know my kids haven't. But they did use it over the summer especially with Summer Camp activities. We will use it twice a month now that school is in session. We are being pro-active for that "just in case" moment.

Another product I received was the StaphAseptic® First Aid Antiseptic/Pain Reliever, to treat minor cuts and wounds. Anyone who read my blog last year, knows I LOVE LOVE LOVE this product. It heals, cleans, protects, and definitely makes "boo-boo's" a whole lot easier to deal with. When the boys have had friends over and they have received scrapes, I use this and when I let their parents know what I have used, they are very much interested in learning more. I have used the StaphAseptic on my cuts as well as on my hubby. i can't even say enough about this product!

The Calagel® Medicated Anti-Inch Gel - to relieve and protect skin from minor cuts and burns, and other skin irritations such as poison ivy, oak and sumac rash has been a lifesaver for my poor Anthony. He is a super itchy boy. Just his skin make up I guess. This gel has been a lifesaver with sunburns and bug bites. Plenty of those two items here in Central Florida!

  2. What a great giveaway! I think in our house it would be a toss up between the anti-itch gel and the antiseptic/pain reliever. Our son (also an Anthony!) has allergies to darn near everything he touches, we use alot of this type of stuff to help ease his itches while his meds work internally. My husband would be the one that would cause the toss up because he gets bumps, scrapes and cuts every single day, so he may get even more use of the antiseptic!

Thanks for another great review and giveaway!

  3. lol I didn't put my e-mail
Staphaspetic, because my boys are susceptible to getting staph/mrsa infections more often than other kids and this give me a piece of mind...

  4. I'd probably use the Staphaseptic most, because the most common issues are cuts and scrapes. Though, when I visit Houston and the mosquitoes down the, I would really be using the Anti-Itch
