Need Prescription help? Look at Walgreens Prescription Savings Club

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Walgreens for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

Many people have found themselves out in the cold when it comes to the failed negotiation of Walgreens and Express Script.

Some Express Script customers are now having to find a new pharmacists, build a new relationship and some even have to drive father to get their medication(s). While not all customers are affected, it is best to check with your local Walgreens before an urgent need arises.

This may also affect the military members who use Tricare.

In order to assist customers who still wish to use Walgreens for their prescriptions, they are offering a discount to the Walgreens Prescription Savings Club.

For just $10 a year you and your family can have coverage which includes your immediate family, including a spouse, dependents 22 and younger and pets, if so desired. For just $5.00, individuals may join on their own.

The Walgreens Prescription Savings Club  saves you money on more than 8,000 brand-name and all generic medications. This is a great opportunity to save money and stay at your Walgreens pharmacy.

Discounts include, but are not limited to; flu shots, nebulizers, diabetic supplies, and yes with pet coverage, there is a discount on pet prescriptions.

Take a look at all Walgreens has to offer and make the decision for yourself.

To stay up to date on everything Walgreens follow Walgreens on Twitter and Walgreens on Facebook.

  2. What a wonderful thing they are offering to help their customers. While this doesn't affect me I just think it's a great thing a big company like this is offering to help offset the price of prescriptions for their customers. Thanks for your post.

  4. I need to check into this for my mother-in-law. Her prescriptions can be costly especially the name brands. We have been searching around for discount cards etc... Every little bit helps especially being on a fixed income. Thanks for sharing!!
