Working magic in my kitchen with a Giani Granite Countertop Kit

It's been an awesome experience transforming our kitchen counter tops.
I must admit I procrastinated because I received this kit in the later part of January and only started the project last weekend.
My husband was trying to make bets on if I would complete it and whether it would look good.
(I wish I would have made those bets with him!)

Giani Granite offers several different design selections but I chose the Chocolate Brown Paint Kit. The kit covers 35 sq. ft. and comes with all the items you need to complete the project (primer, 3 colors, sealer, roller handle with 2 rollers, foam brush and sponge). It also comes with a DVD and printed instructions, plus a test paper so you can try out your sponging techniques on the paper before you head to your counter.

I have a couple of different slide shows set up for you as well as some
YouTube videos I made during the process.

I have heard that Giani Granite is also coming out with a cabinet paint that will coordinate with the counter tops. OH how awesome would that be for my kitchen ! Obviously what I have going on right now does NOT match !

This is our 1st side over last weekend. I chose to do the 2 smaller sections first.

This is the other side of the kitchen. This is what I worked on over the course of the week. yes, it left me without use of my kitchen counters and try keeping 30 little fingers off of the counter (my 3 boys wanted to see if they could "leave their mark"). But it came out well I think!

This is how my kitchen looked this morning. Everything is back in it's place and all I need to do is run a thin beading of clear silicone caulk around the sink.

Now I have taken alot of videos (7 I think), so I'm not adding all of the videos (Ive posted links)
But I am adding just a couple to show you how and what we did!

(This one is shot by my 9yo)

Here is my 1sy day on the larger section of the kitchen

Today's final (my kitchen is back) video

I am very pleased with the outcome and would recommend this kit to anyone. Obviously, each project will come out differently for each person, as your own style, technique, design, and home is unique.
