Teacher Appreciation Day [Week] is May 8th

Since my 1st child was in preschool, I have made a point to show my thanks on Teacher Appreciation Day. Our teachers work so hard and many [if not all] are underpaid.

Sometimes we do a homemade craft and pair it with a gift card. We have purchased items and made gift baskets. Whatever the gesture, I know the teachers appreciate it.

I have shared this craft image before, but I think we are going to try and make these this weekend.
One for each teacher and then for our Kids Morning Out Teachers.

I will tell you that MY craft looks nothing like theirs amazing bouquet [above].
Mine looks like my kids made it. Not like a grown woman trying her best.. Oh well...

I bought some cute Make-it-your-own plastic vases from the craft store and the boys colored them for their teachers.

Anthony loves Butterflies, so does his teacher
CJ will give his 2 Kids Morning Out Teachers these ..

This is Luke's - He added a bracelet he made for his teacher.

We will get a gift card for each Teacher, tailored to them specifically, and add it to the flower pot for our Tuesday delivery.

I think it's so important to show appreciation for people who make a difference, whether in your life, or in someone else's.

  1. Cute! I love the bright colors and simplicity of this project.

  2. Super cute and creative! Those are going to be some happy teachers!

  3. That is so cute! What a great idea - the whole thing.

Thank you for sharing your ramblings with me
