Waiting in the Dr.'s office

How long do you wait before speaking up?

I have been sitting and waiting to see a pediatrician for just shy of 1 hour.
This is the 1st time with the Dr in this practice and i am less than impressed.

After 20 minutes in the waiting area I spoke up. 10 minutes later we were brought to a room. Now its been almost 30 more minutes and here we wait.

I am becoming angry at this point. 1) because i have been waiting for so long and 2) I actually have a ton of items I must accomplish this morning.

I am grateful to have remembered an itouch or my 3 yo son would not be so cooperative ..

And now..... 1 hour .... No Dr. !!!!

gggrrrr

  1. I wait around for about 25-30 minutes to make sure that they did not forget about me or if they are under staff. I rather wait in the waiting room then get stuck in smaller room. - Paul T / Pauline T…pls use emscout9 at hotmail dot com instead of gmail to contact me

  2. I don't think there is anything worse than waiting in a doctors office. I think we should all start sending an invoice to the doctor for our time. :)

  3. I fthe waiting area is not terribly packed, I'm good with hanging out there. However, when I see those who came in 10 minutes after me, in and out before me, I get mad.

Marti, a FABULOUS idea!! I wonder how offices would react..
