When you jump, How will you land? #NabloPoMo

Today is the last day of the #NabloPoMo for June.

The final topic is "It's not the jump you have to worry about, it's the landing".

So many things run through my head, a physical jump, emotional, mental...
How do you land?
Is that jump a leap of faith, or are you certain of the outcome?

Many times in my life, I have jumped without thinking, that leap of faith taken.
Sometimes the landing was soft and comforting, others, not so much.
The landing hurt.

There are times in my blogging, where I jump, whether it's personal, or product related, where I am not sure about the outcome [how I will land]. But I am honest and true to myself, so the leap is not terribly difficult.

I know that there are times in everyone's life where the leap is not completely voluntary, and I have experienced those.
But if we chose to stay in one place, never to leap, how will we ever know if we are strong enough to survive the landing.

  1. What is Nablopomo? I'm familiar with NaNoWriMo, so I'm guessing they are similar... :) Nice post. And great picture to go with it. :)

  4. I was considering taking a "jump" on my blog as well because I think it's important to be who we really are even though we know not everyone will agree!

  5. You definitely have to take chances in life. You can never be sure about the outcome, but I think everything happens for a reason.

  6. It's so scary to take that leap. I do it more, now that I am a mom, in hopes that it will teach my children to do the same.
