Blogcation Review - Lake Buena Vista Resort Village and Spa

Our primary residence during our recent Blogcation to Orlando, was the Lake Buena Vista Resort Village and Spa. We had a fabulous time!

The Lake Buena Vista Resort Village and Spa is just minutes/miles from the Disney Theme Parks, Downtown Disney, and Sea World.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom, 2 bath room (1080 Sq Ft) on the 10th floor, overlooking the Pirate Plunge pool. There are larger and smaller rooms available.

If I were to say that we had a wonderful experience, it would be highly understated.

The staff upon our arrival were friendly and knowledgeable. We were given the "lowdown" on the amenities and locations of the restaurants, spa, and assorted shops.

I enjoyed being able to use the parking level that was available. The spots fit my van snugly, and kept our family out of the elements, since we are in the middle of the Florida summer rain season.

The elevators and entries were clean and the hallways were spacious and uncluttered. My husband was afraid, that with facing the pool area, we would hear the goings on in our room, but we did not.

We arrived to a lovely snack basket (reserved for special guests of LBVR) which was pillaged by the children quite promptly. The jacuzzi tub was welcomed after each day at the park and the Shower area was quite a nice size.

We made our way to the pool on our 2nd day at the LBVResort and the boys loved it. Luke and Anthony instantly hit the pirate ship water slide while Christopher, hubby and I stayed at the zero entry kids side.
I was a little unhappy with fellow parents there with their infant/small children sitting in the water with blue and red daiquiris in hand while there were many children running around. One bump into these parents and the drinks would have been right into the water. But that's my own personal opinions.

There were plenty of chairs, loungers, and tables to accommodate guests and a Kids area to create crafts.

We did browse through the Convenience Store and Gift Shop located in a different building. The Shop had all that was needed, in the event you forgot an item while packing. Expect to pay a more though, the prices do reflect those of a resort.

We had breakfast one morning at Lani's Luau Poolside Bar & Grille, within the Pirates Plunge pool area. The food was good, the coffee too (hubby has said). It was a beautiful morning and the breeze was fabulous. Once again, prices were more than any, close to home, non-resort type place, but we decided to splurge one day. (3 muffins, 2 breakfast sandwiches, 2 powerade drinks, 1 apple juice, 1 coffee, and soda on tap was $40)

The staff was helpful when we wanted a good pizza place. We appreciated the washer and dryer in the room.

I wish I would have had time to visit the Reflections Full Service Salon and Spa, but time was not on our side for this vacation.

Check out was a breeze and once again, the staff made sure that we were comfortable and happy during our stay.

For any Future trips to Orlando, our ONLY overnight visits will be at the Lake Buena Vista Resort Village and Spa. This resort comfortable accommodates my entire family, provides all the comforts of home and more.

Of all the things we did over our vacation. The boys are missing the resort the most.
I think I will too!

I would like to give a great big Thanks to the Lake Buena Vista Resort Village and Spa for allowing us the opportunity to stay at the resort, allowing us to review the property, and making our stay a very wonderful one.
