Do you have a favorite burger? or Fries? Or Salad?
My kids do!

My oldest was thrilled that we were going to our local Wendy's to review food. He loves their fries and proclaims their burgers the best!

While I know my 2 younger boys will always lean towards a kids meal, which i just $1.99 after 4pm. My older son and my husband go for the bigger burgers.

I opted for the new Berry Almond Chicken Salad. I'm not use who usually goes for the fruity type salad and certainly don't do a Fat Free Raspberry Vinaigrette. But I did. And I liked it !
The strawberries and blueberries ere beautiful and sweet. I was afraid of mushy and soggy fruit, but I didn't find any. I hesitated at the first bite, anxious about how all of this would mesh together. But again, I loved how surprised I was at the taste, the crispness of the lettuce, just everything.

My Berry Almond Chicken Salad
The Berry Almond Chicken Salad boasts 460 calories, 7 grams of Protein, and 38 grams of Protein.

Being that it was Father's Day weekend, we opted for Frosty's. We were thrilled to know a portion of our Frosty purchase was going to Wendy’s Wonderful Kids, which benefits Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption.
Our neighbors have been Foster Parents and in May 2013, they adopted their Foster son, who joined their 3 biological daughters. My children have learned alot about Foster children, and adoption through our neighbors and when they learned that part of our purchase went to this foundation, they asked how many Frosty's we could buy.

  4. The salad looks really good. I'm not sure I would want my fruit mixed in but I think it's probably really good.

  5. I'd like to try their salads. Better than a hamburger for me.
