Luke has been asking for a cell phone for some time. Not that he needs on necessarily because I am a SAHM so I take my children to school and pick them up. The extracurricular activities always include our family so he is never alone.

But we do want him to have a phone with a cheap wireless plan for middle school, and we thought that it was time he have a trial run.

We searched for Unlimited Plans that were affordable. We knew we didn't want him to have a Smart Phone just yet. So when we arrived at WalMart, the choice was clear.
Walmart offers Family plans at an affordable price and a great selection on phones for the entire family. I am grateful that we did not have to sign a contract and are able to may month to month for his cell phone. I definitely like the fact that the plan offers unlimited talk and text for a low monthly rate. We've discovered that the #FamilyMobileSaves plans are a great way to be able to have phone for the whole family.

I am able to have Online account management and information at my fingertips.
Did you know that Check out a great digital magazine to get great ideas for back to school. There is a ton of great information from Back to School, Fashion, Food, and yes even some Social Fabric Bloggers who stay connected via the Walmart Family Mobile Plans.
We had a great time shopping together, and Luke was very excited about being able to have this experience!

  1. Nice looking phone he's got there. :) Ahhh the Tween years... I remember them well. I have a 17 yr old ( about to 18 in a month) and a 15 year old. As they get older it becomes even more fun!! Nice post Tara.

  2. I like the phone and the online account manager. My son is 7 years old and He in no way needs a cell phone at all in his life right now. Yet, my parents want him to have one to play games since he likes to take the phones. When he gets much older this is a great possibility to get for him.
