At 11:25pm on July 3rd, hubby and I joined a few thousand others in running the 35th Annual Kiwanis Virginia Street Dermatology Midnight Run.
Last year we ran together, our 1st registered race and we only did 1 mile
Last night we ran the 5k (3.1 mile) run, which began at 11:25pm
We made 38:33 for hubby and 49:11 for me, as official times for us respectively.
Hubby's time went up a little from the Father's Day run [35:22], where as mine was in the same range as my recent ones [48:48 for Iron Girl & 55:31 for Mother's Day]
It wasn't as humid as last year and this was the first time hubby has run over a bridge.
Thankfully, the past couple of months, my friend and I have walked and run this bridge, as I knew I needed to prepare myself for this run.
I am so proud to have the opportunity to run, to run with my family, to make healthy wonderful memories with those I love dear.
I hope that you and your loved ones make wonderful memories today, and everyday !
