Adding something new to my exercise resume ! #jumpropecrossfit #sponsored #FitFluential

Disclosure: I have received a product to facilitate this review. All views and opinions in association to the product(s) or company are that of my family or myself.
When I was a kid, I used jump rope quite a bit.
I'm going to use that dreaded phrase "Back when I was young", we didn't have cell phones, or access to the internet at home. I grew up during a time when if we were not in school or doing chores, we were outside playing.

Since I've grown up [and out], my jump rope days have come to an end. I feel like I bounce in all the wrong places when I jump. It isn't pleasant to watch.

But since I'm on an active journey to lose weight, I thought I'd give the jump rope, a second chance.

I received the Speed Jump Rope for a review and yes, I chose to review it. Jumping rope for 10 minutes burns as many calories as doing 30 minutes of slow cardio. This jump rope is perfect for all different levels of fitness enthusiasts.

Now, I couldn't just jump right off the bat. This jump rope allows you size the rope to your height/jumping ability. And the rope isn't a rope. It's a tightly would series of wires wound together over by a solid black covering. It has high grade metal ball bearings that allow you to jump faster and smoother.

I will tell you that jumping rope is hard when you are a 41 year old woman, who is overweight and is "top heavy". But using the Speed Jump Rope breaks up my exercise routine and helps me with my core.

When cutting the rope to your size, make sure you use a very sharp tool. If your tool is dull, it will take you forever and a day to achieve your goal. I speak from experience !
