Let Tijuana Flats #GiveYouTheBird with their turkey option *For a limited time !

**Disclaimer: As part of the Tampa Bay Bloggers, I was provided a meal and gift card in exchange for my honest review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Happy Taco and Fat Tuesday everyone !!!

Last night,  my littlest, hubby and I joined fellow bloggers at our local Tijuana Flats for a tasting of their new #GiveYouTheBird promotion. I was definitely excited to taste some turkey with the Tijuana Flats flare. I was not disappointed !

The staff at the Clearwater Tijuana Flats were wonderful. A great big thank you for all that you did for us, and for taking special care of the kiddos who tagged along.

The management that came in to talk to us about the promotions and how Tijuana Flats gives back to the Military and children, was great.

I didn't know about their Just in Queso Foundation, which provides aid to individuals, communities, and organizations in need, and proceeds from every bottle of the Just In Queso Hot Sauce, go straight to the foundation.

When we arrived, the table was already set with lots of Valentine's day love and the most fabulous Tijuana Trio every. Chips, Salsa, Queso, and guacamole. I love chips and salsa, so this was a nice sight to sit down to.

To begin our Turkey journey, we sampled the Turkey Tostadas. These tostadas contsisted of Lightly friend corn tortillas, refried beans, cheese, ground turkey, sour cream, and tomatoes, laying on a bed of shredded lettuce with a salsa for dipping.

Our next 3 entrees were just as tasty as the first.

The Mahi Mahi fish tacos has a citrus vinaigrette, pico, and cabbage. I'm not a huge fish fan, but if you are, I bet this light refreshing dish would hit the spot for you.

The blackened chicken flautas are my favorite at this point.
I love the crunchy fried flour tortilla shell and the options for toppings are endless.
You can dip them or use a fork/knife. I think this is one my kids would eat, despite the fact 2 of the 3 would first oppose it.

The last entree was the Norrito Bowl. What is a Norrito?
It's the insides of a burrito, in a bowl.
This dish is a layered dish of rice, black beans, cheese, toppings, guacamole, and ground beef. You can also add your choice of meat if ground turkey isn't what you are looking for.

I do love the layering of this dish and that I can use the chips from the chips and salsa with this dish. I think that the Norrito Bowl may be my ultimate favorite of the dishes we sampled.

We were also treated to dessert. The Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Flautas were delectable. The cookie dough was warm and the flautas were sprinkled with powdered sugar and accompanied by a chocolate dipping sauce.

If your little ones aren't ready for the flavors of the full menu, there happens to be a "Lil Lizards" menu option for them

This Valentines Day you can enjoy $2.00 Tacos and $1.00 Drafts
